lost.

I feel lost.

The sands of time whispering through my fingertips.

A heart being crammed through a paper shredder.

Heavy eyelids that refuse to completely drain their tear basins.

I feel lost.

I need someone, anyone, to help me find my way back home.

Follow the saltwater trail, through the woods, to the house made of candy,

where I'm being eaten alive, and bring me home.

I know we'll both be able to find our way back someday. It's just hard to imagine that when we're so blinded by our emotions.

i couldn't find the words to tell you, darling. i wish i could.
if only i know the way, i will draw a map and send it to you. if only i live in that house made of candy, i will not let anyone harm you.
but i can't, for even i, myself couldn't find my way home. i just wish we were at the same places so we can hold each other's hands, and wipe each other's tears.
